Filipino Dating and the Filipino Girl

Lets start right off the bat with Filipino Love. Is it really possible to find a Filipino Girl who will honestly want to marry you and love you for the person you are, warts and all. Guys let me be the first to tell you in case you haven’t already heard. The answer is yes. Filipinas want a nice caring person who will love them, just the same as anyone else. They also have the added burden of 90% of them growing up in crushing poverty.

In addition all Filipinas are all predisposed to think of you in the vein of Daddy Warbucks off Annie. To them you are loaded, just by the fact that you are from America and can get the heck over to her country. Filipino dating is the real thing and if you treat her right, you to can bask in the warm glow of Filipino Love, when your Filipino girl puts her heart in your hands. But be warned her family is going to be living in squalor and suffering. She won’t be able to stop herself from asking the love of her life to help out when the parents or siblings are in a bind.

If this is a deal breaker get ready to move on. On the other hand, if it isn’t a deal breaker, when you’re Filipina does ask for your help, how do you know its not a scam. In another article, I lay out some of the prices of food, rent, power, water, clothes, etc. So if your Filipino love is asking for something within this price range, your Filipinas probably not telling you a big whopper.

That said, there are also a few other things to keep in mind. Marriage for instance. Marriage in Philippines is different from Marriage in America. In America, if you and your honey want to get divorced, and you both agree, its slam balm thank you mam. In the Philippines, you can only get annulled which is pretty close to divorced but there’s a year or two of mandatory counseling, and that’s if both side agree.

Also, marriage in Philippines is no guarantee the American Government will let you bring your Filipino girl to the states. Marriage in the Philippines makes sure the two of you are married but it is incredibly hard to get out of, if for instance, she is denied a visa and you can’t come live with her for another decade or two. I really recommend a Fiance Visa, and marrying her in America, unless you can commit to staying in the Philippines.

There are many good dating sites in the Philippines. Filipinas can be found in droves on Cebuanas.com, or Filipinapals.com, or Maniladarlings.com. Honestly just do a Google search and you’ll find the top rated sites.

Find the one that works best for you. Be ready for a woman from a culture where divorce isn’t an institution but be warned, going to America will expose her to all those 1st world corrupting ideas, so just plan to treat her right from the very start and she will take care of you.

Retirement Options and Marriage in the Philippines

First off, anyone can come to the Philippines for a 21 day free vacation to meet Filipino girls on a Filipino dating excursion and have a marriage in the Philippines. After the 21 days though it's going to cost you 50-100 bucks every two months. The slop in that figure is because the Government loves to vary your fee schedules. On their government immigration website they've got 4 different schedules for 6 one time payments. It's kind of crazy but there you go, essentially if you figure 600 bucks you should be able to stay here for a year. The search for Filipino love and Filipino girls doesn't have to be held up by frustrations at the immigration office.

Secondly, if you're into Filipino dating and you've already got yourself a Filipino girl, you can just have a marriage in the Philippines to the Filipino love of your life and apply for a 13a Permanent Visa.  Having gone through the process myself I've got to say. Get 1.0-1.5k USD scraped together and go to an agency. You'll need your passport and be ready to fill out a couple Filipinas government forms. Within a couple months you'll have a temporary permanent visa good for 1 year and a valid form of ID here. At the end of this year you show up back at the Agency and get it regularized to a permanent visa. They call it an I-card but for all intents and purposes this is the Green Card of the Philippines. With this I-card and your passport you can now legally set up your very own bank account here in the Philippines. Or course maybe you don't want Filipinas or Filipino girls and Marriage in the Philippines isn't the route for you. So if you can't find Filipino love and the right Filipino girl for you, then forget about the whole Filipino dating scene and go straight to the next option.

Our third option is what is called an SRRV. Or Special Resident Retirement Visa. The SSRV is for those of us with money in the bank and/or a pension. The Filipinas is a very welcoming country and even though the Filipinas tend to have loyal girls some of us have just been burned one too many times to consider marriage in the Philippines or Filipino dating for Filipino love. So for this you've got a couple choices. If you are over 50 and you have a pension, then all you have to do is deposit 10k USD into a bank here in the Philippines and fill out some paperwork. All of which can be done while you are in country. Or if you don't have a pension and are over fifty, you can deposit 50K in the bank. Finally if you are in your mid-thirties to late forties you can deposit 75k here and they'll let you stay with a special retirement visa. Figure an additional 2k in filing fees in addition to whatever you've got to put in the bank and now you're golden. You can sit back on a tropical beach with the Filipinas or with a Filipino love and watch the waves come in without worrying about overstaying your welcome.
